NUVO TECHNOLOGIES GAINS FOUR AWARDS IN ONE WEEK

NuVo Technologies, a leading innovator in multi-room audio has four more awards to add to its collection, from both sides of the pond.

Hebron, Kentucky – March 16, 2009 – To cap off what has already been an awards packed six months for NuVo Technologies, the company has added two awards from the Electronic House Expo (EHX) in the US as well as a further two accolades from the UK’s SVI magazine.

NuVo had cause to celebrate last week when SVI revealed NuVo Technologies had won ‘Best DAB’ for the NuVo T2 DAB, as voted for by fellow members of the home automation industry. Nuvo’s UK distributor, Habitech, also scooped an award in the same scheme, collecting ‘Best Distributor’.

During the same week the company picked up platinum awards – the highest CEA accolade there is – at EHX in the US for ‘Best Wireless Product’ for the NV-WCP Wireless Control Pad and Best Corporate Green Policy, for the company’s green practices.

There were several finalists in each category jostling for recognition, plus a 'gold' winner for each category but it was NuVo crowned with two first places.

“We’re thrilled by the recognition these awards, and the others we’ve gained over the past six months or so, have given us,” says David Rodarte, President and Chief Operating Officer of NuVo Technologies, “it’s incredible we are now getting global recognition for various products and it’s great to get our UK distributor recognised. If the next six months are as award filled as the last few have been, we’re going to need a bigger cabinet!”

Over the last six months, NuVo has won three awards with it’s Essentia E6G, whole home audio product. NuVo has notched up - Most InAVative Audio Product for Residential Use (Non Loudspeaker); the 2008 CEDIA US Manufacturers’ Excellence Award for Best New Product and the 2008 Product of the Year Award from Electronic House (a US magazine).
